My name is Byron McClintick and I started turning wood a few years ago as a hobby and just fell in love with turning. I'm not a full time turner nor am I a professional woodturner. I just do it for fun.

I think most of us turners do most of are turning for the fun of it. We may sell a piece here and there or turn a spindle to repair a chair but for the most part it's just for fun and to take your mind off the of every thing else and just have some fun making square piece of wood round.
